Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) is an applied discipline that uses knowledge generated through research to address real-world issues affecting individuals, families and communities and the industries and organizations serving families.

The family and Consumer Sciences department has one Extension agent, Patricia Simmons Stuckey who also serves as the Extension Coordinator. We have one fulltime and one part-time program assistant works in this department.
